Prohormones are still the rage in the sports nutrition industry. They aren't a staple supplement product in peoples regiments like creatine, whey protein, L-Glutamine Powder, or meal replacements. However, they are a popular product for giving people a temporary boost or helping them hit a physical peak. So...which ones work the best?
1. Without question, MAG-10 works the best. MAG-10 from Biotest works quickly. You will notice better pumps and muscle fullness in about 1 week or less. It is kind of pricey...even at the MSS huge discount price.
2. The number two slot is much tougher to call. The next three listed products are very close in effectiveness. I would have to give the edge to Biotest's other Prohormone product 4-AD-EC. 4-AD-EC provides the increased vascularity and pump feeling also like MAG-10. It just isn't quite as extreme and quick acting. However, it is an excellent product for the price.
3. 1-AD from Ergopharm is pretty close to as effective as 4-AD-EC. However, the need to only take it with food is sometimes a pain. It also seems to come up a little short when comparing the muscle fullness while taking the product. It is very good, but just a little shy of 4-AD-EC in my opinion. At three caps per day, you can get 20 days out of the 1-AD, which makes it a slightly better time value, since you can only get 15 days from the 4-AD-EC.
4. Kaizen CycloNordiol is the next in line. It produces a good increase in vascularity, muscle pump, and muscle fullness. It also makes you appear much harder. The cyclodextrin products do have a bitter taste that is really irritating for about 10-15 minutes.
5. Kaizen CycloDiol comes in at number five. Remember, until 1-AD and the EC products came out, the cyclos were state of the art delivery systems. Cyclodiol will increase your testosterone levels greatly and give you all the benefits associated with that.
Remember, if you take prohormones, they should only be used on a limited basis. Take them two to four weeks on and then two to four weeks off at a time. They can help you hit a peak for a short time and used regularly on and off throughout the year, increase your annual gains by quite a margin. Good luck with your training!

Senate Bill 2195 also called the Andro Ban was passed by unanimous consent in the United States Senate on October 8th, 2004 and has been signed into law by President Bush.
